The Grand Vin of the property, the Chateau Peyrabon 2018 reveals the typicality of a wine from Haut-Medoc.
Nestled in lush greenery on the left bank of the Bordeaux region, the Chateau Peyrabon estate expands over an exceptional vineyard whose gravelly rump terroir suits perfectly the appellation’s signature grape variety, Cabernet Sauvignon.
A manual harvest is followed by optical sorting of the fruit, to ensure that only the highest quality fruit is used in the blend.
The Chateau Peyrabon 2018 is made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (49%), complemented beautifully by Merlot (35%), Cabernet Franc (5%) and Petit Verdot (3%). The wine is traditionally aged in oak barrels (of which 29% is new wood) for a period of 14 months.
