Chateau Haut-Bailly 2007

Bordeaux - Pessac-Leognan - Red Chateau Haut-Bailly Chateau Haut-Bailly 2007 1070/07
  • Parker : 92
  • J. Robinson : 16
The 2007 presents a structured texture and plenty of emphasis on the palate with pure flavours. The combination of the crunchy Cabernets, and dense, fine, velvety tannins offers a wonderfully elegant wine. This is a truly classic vintage. This wine's smooth character goes perfectly with a wild duck and foie gras pie.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
Tasted at BI Wine & Spirits' 10-Year-On tasting, the 2007 Haut Bailly has a beautiful, quintessential Pessac bouquet with touches of warm gravel filtering through the black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with impressive, tightly knit black fruit laced with cedar and white pepper. There is superb weight in this 2007 considering the vintage, doling out fine mineralité on the persistent finish. Very fine, but I would actually wait another couple of years before broaching. Tasted February 2017.;2019 - 2032
