Chateau de la Maltroye's vineyard lies on very deep, rich clay soil and stretches over 1.06 hectares (2.61 acres). Morgeot Vigne Blanche vintage -Chassagne-Montrachet AOC- aged 12 months in oak with 30% new oak. This 1er Cru from Burgundy reveals green-tinted straw hue as well as very luscious exotic fruits and citrus scents, and delicate flower touch. The 2011 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot Vigne Blanche offers a complex palate, very fresh, with well-controlled tang and thickness. The finish is more mineral and very persistent.
