Cask sample. Glorious nose – furled but full of promise. Lemon blossom and curd. Broad flood of apricot-ripe acidity, shimmering with something that is almost sherbet, almost rock salt, almost quinine-like. Almond flowers. Lots of exciting impact and pent-up flavour here. Bitter-orange peel on the end. (TC)
