Description
The Couvent des Jacobins 2009, a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, is a very successful vintage. The color of this wine is of a beautiful garnet and the nose reveals fruity red fruit scents from the start. The mouth seems deceptively simple, but it is round and sauve with a solid tannic structure. The finish offers a medium persistence and the wine is overall refreshing. Best to enjoy this wine by 2020.
