The estate
Since 1616, the Château Marquis d’Alesme has been overseeing an exceptional terroir in Margaux, in the heart of the Bordeaux region. Combining exoticism and classicism, Château Marquis d’Alesme is a land of culture and passion.
The vineyard
The Château Marquis d’Alesme 2023 is a Margaux wine from a 14-hectare vineyard. Like a garden, the vineyard is managed with the utmost care thanks to the artisanal work of the château's team. The vines are planted on clay-limestone soils, siliceous and clayey gravels.
Vinification and ageing
Hand harvesting. Vinification in 80 hl thermoregulated wooden, stainless steel and concrete truncated vats. Ageing for 14 months in barrels (45% new and 55% one wine).
Blend
The Château Marquis d’Alesme 2023 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.
