The tasting
Color
This wine is a beautiful golden straw color.
Nose
The nose is very fine, mixing floral and fruity fragrances (candied fruits) with citrus and spice aromas along with perfect botrytrized notes.
Palate
Crystalline, the palate is seduced by this wine’s elegance as well as its richness. Pure and balanced, the palate is sustained by a racy freshness and a beautiful length. The finish is lively and carried by a superb acidity.
The 2015 Lafaurie-Peyraguey is pale lemon-gold in color with gorgeous candied citrus peel, orange marmalade and lemon tart notes with hints of musk perfume and honeycomb. The medium to full-bodied palate is rich and opulent with plenty of spicy notes coming through and a very long finish.
