The Chateau Lafaurie Peyraguey vineyard stretches over 41 hectares, located in the heart of the Sauternes appellation. This 2005 is a blend of Semillo, Sauvignon, followed by Muscadelle that brings the wine a certain complexity.
This vintage offers a concentrated bouquet with apricot and fig jam notes as well as almond and grilled walnut hints. The palate is medium-bodied with a rather vibrant, well-structured acidity. The 2005 Chateau Lafaurie Peyraguey reveals an excellent tension, a good dynamic but also an impressive mineral character.
