Chateau Grand Corbin-Despagne enjoys an idyllic location to the northwest of the Saint-Emilion plateau, on the fringe of the Pomerol appellation, on the right bank of Bordeaux. The estate was founded at the end of the 18th century. This 2020 vintage is the 209th vintage to be produced by the Despagne family on this estate.
The vineyard of Chateau Grand Corbin-Despagne comprises nearly 29 hectares. It spreads over clay-siliceous soils upon iron-bearing stone and ancient sands upon clay. The vineyard has been managed in a certified organic manner since 2013. The vines are 39 years old on average and produce fine Saint-Emilion wines.
