The Chateau Grand Corbin-Despagne is a Grand Cru Classe from the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation with a vineyard of 28.79 hectares. The vines have an average age of 39-years-old and grow in sandy-clay soil on iron oxide and ancient clay sand. The wine is aged in barrels (50% in new, 40% in one-year-old barrels and 10% in two-year-old barrels). The Chateau Grand Corbin-Despagne 2016 blend is composed of 75% Merlot, 24% Cabernet Franc and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon.
