The estate
Château Grand Corbin, Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, was founded in the 19th century. This great estate on Bordeaux’s Right Bank is reviving its prestigious past. Managed by Philippe Dambrine, Château Grand Corbin is at the top of the appellation's crus.
The vineyard
Château Grand Corbin 2022 is a Saint-Émilion wine that stems from a 28.5-hectare vineyard. The old vines, 40 years old, are planted on a terroir of silicon on a bed of blue clay.
Winemaking and ageing
Harvests done by hand. Ageing for 12 months in French oak casks (of which 40% were new, 40% of one wine and 20% of two wines).
Blend
Merlot (90%), Cabernet Sauvignon (6%) and Cabernet Franc (4%).
