The property

The Château Citran is one of the oldest properties in the Médoc. In 1996, the Merlaut family took over this estate producing elegant Haut-Médoc wines. 

The vineyard

Château Citran 2023 is a Haut-Médoc wine from a vineyard of 89 hectares. The vines, averaging 35 years old, are planted on a mosaic of gravelly-sandy terroirs with asteriated limestones and clay-limestone soils.
