Vinum

Red-fruited and spicy with herbal notes; on the palate, approachable and fruity, with little tannin and fine acidity. The wine has drive and freshness, lingering on sour cherry notes. Enjoyable now.

Decanter

Red cherries, strawberries and some dried herbs on the nose - crystalline and really apparent. Crunchy, cool, fresh and full of life, gorgeous sweet and salivating acidity. Quite sleek and streamlined with some tension and a tiny bit of bitter orange and lots of clear minerality. Great frame, open. Shiny. Lots of cooling freshness on the finish.

Zekun Shuai

Racy fruit with hawthorn, rose hips, red berries and cherries. Linear, with a nice structure, but nothing heavy from the fruit flesh in the middle. Fine-grained, with medium body and a chewy but juicy finish. Needs two more years to allow the fruit tannins to round off. More bones than flesh this year. Drink after 2026.

A blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc aged in 20% new barrels with the rest in tank, the 2023 Tempo D'Angelus is medium-bodied, fresh, focused, and elegant, with fine tannins, nicely integrated acidity, and a great finish. They've increased the production here considerably, yet the quality hasn't suffered. Drink this juicy, elegant red over the coming 4-6 years. Drink 2026-2031.

Yves Beck

The floral nuances on the nose suggest freshness. However, the generosity of Merlot is clearly present, fully assuming—or rather embracing—its role as an ambassador of fullness and maturity. On the palate, the harmony announced by the bouquet comes through perfectly. The wine is driven by youthful tannins that provide grip and carry the finish. It deserves a bit of cellaring.

Logo on the cork: DIAM10 Deep, intense, beautiful color. Intense nose with fresh fruit aromas. It becomes slightly more vibrant when the glass is swirled. Juicy from the attack, flavorful through the mid-palate, the wine melts across the palate, almost refreshing. It finishes long with well-integrated, nicely wrapped tannins. Very good. Blend: 90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc. Alcohol: 13.5% - pH: 3.55.
