Bordeaux
The Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur AOC represent the largest fine-wine area of the world. Spread over 60 000 hectares and representing 50% of the region vineyard the two appelations produce red, rosé and white wine. The rosé prouced using the "saignée" method or direct pressing are elaborated with the same grapes varieties used to make red wines (Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon). These fruity, floral and light wines are appreciated for their freshness and festive notes.
