The 2013 Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru Les Cazetiers of Domaine Faiveley was made from old vines of Pinot Noir. The word "cazetier" could come from "Castel", the geographical position of the village climat (land with unique combination of weather conditions and soil composition) since the vineyard is located above the Chateau de Gevrey.
This wine reveals a complex and intense nose. It gives off red berry, grilled and roasted aromas. The 2013 Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru Les Cazetiers offers an ample and generous palate, with a firm texture with marked yet not bitter tannins. This strong wine offers a good structure and a persistent finish. It can be drank between 2023 and 2025.
