The estate
Clos de l'Oratoire is one of the estates owned by Count Von Neipperg, who is also the head of Châteaux Canon la Gaffelière, d'Aiguilhe and La Mondotte.
The vineyard
Clos de l'Oratoire is a Saint-Émilion wine produced from a vineyard of over 10 hectares planted on sand and clay soils. The vineyard is certified organic.
Winemaking and ageing
Harvest from 13 to 23 September. Vinification in wooden vats. Extraction by pneumatic punching down. Vatting for 27 days. Aged on fine lees in barrels (30% new).
Blend
Clos de l'Oratoire 2022 is a blend of Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%).
