Located on the Saint-Emilion plateau, on the right bank of Bordeaux, Chateau Villemaurine enjoys a privileged location indeed. Its magnificent vineyard is planted in clay-limestone soils upon asterious limestone.

Blending Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%), the Chateau Villemaurine 2018 presents the refined and elegant character of a Saint-Emilion born from an exceptional limestone terroir. At the tasting, the Chateau Villemaurine 2018 displays a deep and concentrated color. A very fresh aromatic bouquet springs from the glass, enrobing the nose with its generous notes of black fruits. On the palate, the wine reveals a massive structure, supported by tannins of great finesse. With plenty of tension, the palate stretches into a finish of great elegance.
