The climatic conditions in September and October were dry and hot which give to the
Château Villemaurine grappe's ideal maturation that August hasn't done. The natural concentration and fine tannins of the berries gave the opportunity to make this excellent
Château Villemaurine. This
Saint-Emilion is composed this year of 80% of
Merlot and 20% of
Cabernet Franc. The red color is deep and dark. The nose is caracterized by the scent of fresh and mature black fruits. In the mouth the wine is fresh, dense and mineral. The straight and round tannins in the end are appreciated.
