Derived from a blend largely dominated by Merlot (90%) and complemented by Cabernet Franc (10%), the Chateau Soutard 2017 presents a superb aromatic bouquet, in which the freshness of red berries is intense. On the palate, the wine delivers elegance and finesse, with a texture that emphasizes the smoothness of its tannins, with a tension that brings balance and depth to the very long finish. A nice vintage for this Grand Cru Classe of Saint-Emilion.
