Chateau Fombrauge 2006

Bordeaux - Saint-Emilion - Red Chateau Fombrauge Chateau Fombrauge 2006 1616/06
  • Parker : 88
  • J. Robinson : 16
The Château Fombrauge 2006 shows an intense colour with ruby reflections. The nose of this great classified Saint-Emilion expresses ripe fruits, blackcurrant and blackberry. The mouth is full of complexity thanks to its smooth tannins. This is a wine with a huge potential.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
One of the two stars of Bernard Magrez's St.-Emilion empire (the other being the luxury cuvee of Magrez-Fombrauge), the 2006 Fombrauge is a soft, round, spicy effort displaying plenty of oak, earth, and ripe red currant and black cherry fruit. This pretty, alluring, charming effort is best drunk over the next 7-8 years. It is a blend of 77% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon.;2009 - 2017
