Vinum

Radiant bouquet, very complex, floral and playful, violets and mint over red fruit; on the palate fine-boned and fresh, with great tension, expanding on the mid-palate while remaining tight, gripping tannins, excellent acidity; red-fruited, with blood orange and a marked minerality on the finish. A very fine interpretation of the vintage. Recommended.

Decanter

Fragrant floral scents and red summer berries on the nose. Expressive and open. Generous and friendly, this has a soft chew with lively acidity and salty edges to the tannins. It’s a little compact and tight, but there’s good definition and a great texture that suggests good structure and potential for the future. The fruit has lovely purity with mouthwatering acidity, but it fades quite quickly in favor of crushed stone, salty, graphite elements. Clarity and precision. Not a blockbuster, missing a touch more density, but it’s elegant and finessed with great extraction! Ageing 30% new oak barrels.

43% Merlot, 43% Cabernet Franc and 14% Cabernet Sauvignon. Certified organic. Cask sample. Dark- and red-berry fruit. Blackberry notes to the fore. Slightly robust on the palate but there’s energy and character here. (JL)

Flowers, strawberries, chocolate, black cherries, tobacco, and mint leaves compose the perfume. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, soft-textured, supple, elegant, fresh, and pure. The red fruits are refined, vibrant, and lifted, displaying freshness, length, and complexity in the finish. The wine blends 43% Cabernet Franc, 43% Merlot, and 14% Cabernet Sauvignon. 13% ABV. The harvest took place from September 25 - October 5. Drink from 2028-2050. 93-95 pts

Le Figaro Vin

On the nose, an exhilarating, musky, heady scent of small black berries. On the palate, a vegetal energy pulses from the outset, carried by notes of blackcurrant leaf. A wine of rare vitality.

The nose is beautifully elegant, offering relief, complexity, good definition, brightness, and depth. It reveals notes of violet, ripe wild blackberry and, more subtly, camphor, with touches of cornflower, fine hints of bigarreau cherry, as well as discreet hints of fresh hazelnut and bergamot. The palate is finely crafted, fresh, supple, elegant, melodious, and voluptuous. It offers a certain concentration of freshness/juiciness and lift, a lovely brightness to the wine, and a delicate, almost roasted-elegant nuance. On the palate, this wine shows notes of bright blackcurrant, bright blue fruits and, more subtly, fleshy/quite ripe cherry, with touches of chocolate, toasted almond, bright blue plum, as well as fine hints of black tea/bergamot and almost aromatic herbs in the background. Good length. A lovely freshness with an almost discreet citrus edge. The tannins are precise, smooth, and indulgent. An elegant wine, aromatic on the nose, offering fine persistence and a refined, infusion-like freshness.
