Chateau Brun is located on a vineyard of 10 hectares, on the hill in the north-west of Saint-Emilion. The climatic conditions and the terroir allowed the production of a 2014 vintage composed of Cabernet Franc and Merlot.
The vermilion-tinted garnet red coloured 2014 Saint-Emilion reveals a quite closed nose but fruity notes of Morello cherry, blackberry and acerola are released on aeration and enhanced by a hint of white pepper and dark tobacco. On the palate, the 2014 Chateau Brun possesses a supple attack with round tannins, followed by a good zip that confers vibrancy to the wine. The finish is tangy on raspberry and cranberry hints, underlined by a lovely length on black chocolate and toasted aromas.
