Description
The balance and finesse of a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru
The estate
With roots dating back to the 16th century, Château Brun embodies a precious family heritage, passed down from generation to generation. This continuous transmission of winegrowing knowledge keeps an exceptional expertise alive, giving birth to an emblematic Grand Cru of the Saint-Émilion appellation, on the right bank of Bordeaux.
The vineyard
Château Brun 2025 comes from a vineyard of around 9 hectares, planted on the slopes of a hill northwest of Saint-Émilion. In a single block, the vines, with an average age of 30 years, benefit from a clay-limestone terroir with a full south-facing exposure.
Vinification and ageing
After destemming, the grapes begin their fermentation in temperature-controlled concrete vats. Maceration lasts 18 to 20 days, before the wine is racked. It is then aged for 18 months, allowing its complexity and elegance to express themselves fully.
Grape varieties
Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
