The estate
Founded in June 2019 by Édouard Roy, Jérôme Queige and Camille Jullien Gilardi, EPC Champagne represents the first startup in the Champagne sector. Established in Vindey in the Marne, the House relies on a network of seven cooperatives located in the main Champagne terroirs. Backed by renowned investors such as Xavier Niel and Didier Deschamps, EPC stands out for its total transparency and its perfectly traceable single-cru cuvées.
The vineyard
This Blanc de Noirs Brut Non Vintage comes from Buxeuil, located in the Côte des Bar in the south of Champagne, in the Aube department. The vineyard rests on Upper Jurassic soils, of a clay-limestone nature with marly tendencies, imparting the wine with its distinctive minerality and assertive character specific to this southern terroir of the Champagne region.
The cuvée
This Blanc de Noirs cuvée results from a blend composed of 65% of the 2023 vintage and 35% reserve wines from several vintages, allowing for qualitative consistency and increased aromatic complexity. This Champagne presents a dosage of 6 g/L.
Winemaking and ageing
The Blanc de Noirs Brut Non Vintage is vinified in stainless steel vats with full malolactic fermentation, a technique that brings roundness and suppleness to the Champagne while preserving the terroir's characteristic freshness.
Grape variety
This Champagne is made exclusively from Pinot Noir (100%), the iconic grape variety of the Côte des Bar which gives it structure, power and its typical red fruit aromas.
