This great and distinguished vintage, especially for Cabernet Sauvignon, did this second vin good. It is made from younger vines of the Lafite-Rothschild plots. The extreme selection of the plots to create the most beautiful Lafite expression allows reaching a superior level in the making of Carruades. The 2009 Carruades de Lafite shows purity and aromatic vibrancy, characteristics due to the alternating of sunny days and fresh nights appropriate for the aromatic expression. The palate is straight, precise, aromatic, round with finely chiselled tannins. The varietals perfect ripeness plays a great role in the sensation of balance. This Pauillac 2e vin du Chateau Lafite-Rothschild is fleshy and fruity. We enjoy the pleasant and lingering finish.
