Description
Chateau d'Issan has a rich history in the Bordeaux region. Its wines were even served at the wedding of Eleanor of Aquitaine and King Henry II of England. Blason d'Issan is the second label of the winery. The 1996 vintage is quite savory, with notes of animal leather and earth. It is medium-bodied with a long finish and well-integrated tannins.
