Côtes du Rhône Red 2014 from E. Guigal: an elegant and fine red wine
Red wine from the Côtes du Rhône appellation, the Côtes du Rhône Red from E. Guigal comes from vines aged 8 years on average and planted on soils consisting of sediments, granite limestones, alluvial deposits and pebbles. The wine is aged for at least 18 months in oak barrels. The Côtes du Rhône Red 2014 from E. Guigal blends Syrah, de Grenache and Mourvèdre.
With its dark red color, intense and bright, the Côtes du Rhône Red 2014 of E. Guigal develops on the nose aromas of black fruits mixed with more spicy notes. On the palate, the wine displays itself to be ample, full-bodied and refined. One notes tannins that are extremely round and coated, with a beautiful presence on the palate. This Côtes du Rhône Rouge 2014 is ample, warm and offers intense fragrances. Overall, this wine reveals a complete and superbly persistent wine. To be consumed before 2024.
