Alain Graillot Wines : Key Points

Originally from Crozes-Hermitage, Alain Graillot produced his first vintage from a plot of rented vines and founded his estate in 1985. Graillot was determined to showcase the beauty of his homeland and the estate cultivates a total of 22 hectares of vines, mostly planted with Syrah, along with a few hectares of Marsanne and Roussanne.

Alain Graillot cultivated his vines using organic practices from the very beginning. He sadly passed away in 2022 and his children, Antoine and Maxime, have taken over the estate and their father’s legacy. The grapes are harvested by hand and fermentation is carried out with the utmost care. The Rhone Valley wines show a pleasant drinkability in their youth, boasting light and fruity aromas but also offering a promising aging potential.
