A Unique Take on a Biodynamic Crémant
Clos de la Briderie sits on the right bank of the
Loire River and has been family run since 1854 by the Giraults. In 1994, the winery converted their 25 acres to
biodynamic farming allowing for unique flavors to shine through. This Crémant is made up of 40%
Chenin Blanc, 20%
Chardonnay, 20%
Cabernet Franc and 20%
Cabernet Sauvignon. The gently pressed juice is fermented with the grapes' own wild yeasts before aging for two years.
This wine has a slightly pink hue with persistent mousse-like bubbles. It gives off aromas of stone fruit and is lively and elegant on the palate. It has a fresh long finish due to the maturity of the wine. Serve this Crémant for an aperitif or with a fruit filled desert.
