Chateau Siran has a total of 25 hectares of vineyards in the Margaux appellation, and benefits from a rich terroir composed of ancient alluvial sandy gravel soil. The blend for the 2008 vintage is 54% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Petit Verdot.
The Chateau Siran 2008 has charming black cherry, loamy soil and herb aromas. The palate shows extreme softness, complete roundness and elegance. Best to consume this wine now.
