Description
A rare white wine from Saint-Emilion
A rare white wine produced in very limited quantities, the Chateau Magrez Fombrauge Blanc 2018 comes from a vineyard located in the town of Saint Christophe des Bardes, which is one of the most beautiful terroirs of Saint-Emilion.
Located on the right bank of Bordeaux, Chateau Magrez Fombrauge expands over a magnificent vineyard of 2.20 hectares. The soil consists of clay-limestone on limestone with asterias. The fruit was subject to a rigorous selection in the vineyard and later in the cellar. Some of the base wines carried out their alcoholic fermentation in egg-shaped cement tanks, while others fermented in new oak barrels. The Chateau Magrez Fombrauge 2018 was aged on fine lees for 8 to 10 months with stirring.
A blend of Sauvignon Blanc (30%), Sauvignon Gris (30%) and Semillon (40%) and produced in the Bordeaux Blancs Secs appellation, the Chateau Magrez Fombrauge Blanc 2018 displays the character of a rare white grand vin from the greatest terroirs of Saint-Emilion.
