Chateau Liot reveals a delicate and refined Sauternes wine
The property
Chateau Liot is located in the Sauternes appellation, more particularly on the Haut-Barsac plateau. Chateau Liot has belonged to the David family for several generations.
The vineyard
The Chateau Liot vineyard covers 40 hectares, including 20 hectares planted in Sauternes and 20 hectares of red and white vines in Graves. This terroir is made up of clay and red soil on a limestone base. Chateau Liot has been HVE certified since 2020.
Vinification and aging
Manual harvest by successive sorting. Aging in barrels lasted 9 to 12 months.
The blend
The Chateau Liot 2020 is made from a blend of Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle.
