In Sauternes, the harvest started with a rare precocity on September 8th, at Château Liot. The noble rot devoloped easily, quickly and regularly, allowing a smooth harvest on a young and fresh botrytis which is the guarantee of a clean, pure, balanced and bold vintage. Its candied apricot notes appeared early in the winemaking of the Château Liot 2015. The expression is the one of the terroir, especially the one of Barsac in its fruit, its freshness, but also through its floral accents that confer him elegance.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
The 2015 Liot has a simple, dried pineapple and citrus nose that needs to demonstrate more intensity. The palate is better with fresh mango and citrus fruit, good weight in the mouth, although it needs more complexity on the rather one-dimensional finish.
