The estate
A true icon of the Saint-Julien appellation, Chateau Leoville Barton embodies the quintessence of the Medoc through wines that shine bright with consistency and class. From vintage to vintage, the estate has stayed at the top of the appellation, seducing even the most demanding Bordeaux wine lovers.
The vineyard
Chateau Leoville Barton covers 50 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the Saint-Julien appellation. The vines are planted in gravel upon a clay subsoil.
The winemaking
Manual harvest from September 21 to 26, then from September 30 to October 8. Cabernet Franc from October 3 to 9.
The aging
60% new French oak barrels.

Cabernet sauvignon (84%), merlot (16%)
