The vineyard
Château Léoville Barton 2021 is a Saint-Julien wine that stems from a 50-hectare vineyard. The vines are 38 years old on average and are planted on gravel soils upon a clay subsoil.
Vinification and ageing
Manual harvesting. Aged in barrels (60% new).
The blend
Château Léoville Barton 2021 comprises a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (84%), Merlot (11%) and Cabernet Franc (5%).
