The Expression of a Second Grand Cru Classe of Saint-Julien

Product of a great vintage for the Bordeaux region, the Chateau Leoville-Barton 2018 expresses the grandeur of the magnificent terroir of Saint-Julien.

An emblematic property on the left bank of Bordeaux, Chateau Leoville-Barton oversees an exceptional vineyard of over 50 hectares of vines planted in gravel soil and clay subsoils.

Blending Cabernet Sauvignon (82%) and Merlot (18%), the Chateau Leoville-Barton 2018 is showing signs of a great vintage at this Saint-Julien 2nd Grand Cru Classe.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2018 Léoville Barton simply sings of crushed black cherries, blackcurrant cordial and wild blueberries with touches of violets, dark chocolate, allspice and cardamom with a waft of stewed tea. Full-bodied, rich and decadently fruited in the mouth, the generous fruit has a solid structure of firm, ripe, grainy tannins and oodles of freshness, finishing long and layered.
