Marks and reviews
Bearing the name of Chevalier Antoine de Lascombes since the 17th century, Château Lascombes is marked by the imprint of the ten generations of owners who have shaped its history. Since 2011, the MACSF mutual insurance group has been the owner of this 1855 Second Grand Cru Classé.
Château Lascombes is a Margaux wine from a 120-hectare vineyard. This terroir benefits from a mosaic of plots with soils, depending on their location, made up of a gravelly croup, clayey gravels and clay-limestone plots.
Cabernet Sauvignon (50%)
Petit Verdot (5%).
The nose is elegant, lively and balanced, with a delightful richness. Scents of fresh fruit, violets, flowers, black cherry and blackcurrant mingle harmoniously.
Rich and fruity, the palate unveils throughout the tasting a velvety touch and a smooth depth. The finish is refreshing and lingering.
This Margaux wine can be laid down until about 2025-2038.
