The 48-hectar vineyard lies on Garonne gravel soil at the shore of the Gironde estuary, and benefits from natural weather conditions from the river. The 2006 Chateau La Tour de Mons is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot.
