Marks and reviews
Château du Tertre is a Margaux 5th Cru Classé located on Bordeaux’s Left Bank of Bordeaux. Since its purchase at the end of 1997 by Eric Albada Jelgersma, considerable investments have been made to elevate this exceptional terroir of rare uniformity. Since January 2021, Château du Tertre has been run by the Helfrich family, managers of the trading company Les Grands Chais de France.
Produced as a Vin de France, the Château du Tertre Blanc 2022 comes from a vineyard of 6.20 hectares of which 3.80 hectares are in production. The terroir is composed of light gravel and deep sand, which allows the wine to preserve its signature freshness even in hot and dry conditions. The vines are approximately 10 years old.
