Since 2001, Chateau de Fieuzal has belonged to an Irish couple passionate about French wine, who strive to perpetuate the unique character of the estate while preserving the signature style and authenticity of Fieuzal wines. The vineyard is planted in a terroir typical of the Pessac-Leognan appellation, the ideal environment for the cultivation of the main Bordeaux grape varieties.
This Graves Classified Growth reigns over an exceptional vineyard with vines aged 30 years on average, established on a terroir of fine soils covered with gravel.
The wine is adorned with subtle silver tints.
Aromatic and beautifully dense, the nose progressively unveils delicious fragrances typical to Sauvignon Blanc, such as floral, fruity (apricot, white peach), lychee and finally fresh pineapple notes.
With a beautiful attack, the palate seduces with its structure and tension, which are sustained by notes of clementine and bitter orange.
