A Grand Cru Classé de Graves produced in the Pessac-Léognan appellation, the Château de Fieuzal White benefits from a vineyard of 10 hectares planted with white grape varieties. Around 30 years old, the vines are built on a terroir composed of rolling outcrops composed of fine soils and covered with thousand-year-old gravel. The 2015 vintage blends 55% Sauvignon Blanc and 45% Sémillon.
At tasting, the Château de Fieuzal White 2015 presents a pale yellow color with bright and lively lime green reflections. Intense and expressive, the nose exudes smells of white flowers (hawthorn, elderberry, acacia flower) that blend with slightly more empyreumatic notes (hazelnuts, smoked, minerals). On the palate, the wine is complex, powerful and dense. The wine is superbly structured and the finish shows a wonderful tension and a beautiful salinity.
