A red wine from Margaux with a successful balance
A 3rd Classified Growth of the Margaux appellation, Chateau d'Issan is a red wine with a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot. The aging is carried out in barrels, 35% of which are new.
With its beautiful tile-red color, the Chateau d'Issan 1990 develops a discreet nose with well-evolved aromas. On the palate the attack is pleasant, and the wine shows good acidity and elegant, soft tannins. The wine is not extremely powerful but reveals a superb balance.
