A red wine from Margaux with a successful balance
With its beautiful tile-red color, the Chateau d'Issan 1990 develops a discreet nose with well-evolved aromas. On the palate the attack is pleasant, and the wine shows good acidity and elegant, soft tannins. The wine is not extremely powerful but reveals a superb balance.
Wine Advocate-Parker :
The 1990 d'Issan is a lighter-bodied, fragrant wine with medium ruby color, spicy, sweet berry scents, medium body, moderate tannin, and decent concentration. Tasty and supple in a lighter, more delicate style, it should have 10-15 years of positive evolution in the bottle.
