Description
The balance and aromatic intensity of a Médoc Grand Cru Classé
The estate
With origins dating back to 1147, Château Cantemerle is one of Haut-Médoc’s very old properties. Managed by the Cordier family, Château Cantemerle will delight wine lovers with the style of its wines, playing on the register of harmony and elegance thanks to an aromatic palette full of subtlety and a tannic structure full of finesse.
The vineyard
This Château Cantemerle is an Haut-Médoc wine that stems from a 96-hectare vineyard. The vines, on average 40 years old, are planted on a terroir of gravel and silica from the quaternary period.
