Frerejean Freres cuvee Vieilles Vignes 26 Grand Cru non-vintage is made of 100% Chardonnay, from Cramant, Avize & Oger - This Champagne is a blend of 2008, 2009 & 2012 harvests with base wine of 2016 . The tete de cuvee was vinified for 12 months in oak casks from the Argonne forest and 60% of Reserve wines also were vinified in oak casks from the Argonne forest.
The fermentation process is a malolactic one. Resting at least 6 months in cellar after disgorgement, the Frerejean Freres cuvee Vieilles Vignes 26 Grand Cru non-vintage is limited to 9,925 bottles only. This Grand Gru results of a strict selection from plots of old vineyards, some of them dating back to 1926. This bottle, closed with an “Agrafe”, is a return to authenticity and tradition of the “Grand Vin de Champagne”.
