Oscar is crafted from exceptional grapes from pre-phylloxera French rootstocks in Maipo Valley, Chile. The Viña Echeverría vineyard sites benefit from alluvial soil, sunny exposure and pure melted snow water from the Andes Mountains as a natural irrigation source.
Viña Echeverría is a family winery dedicated to sustainability and has been awarded the Wines of Chile sustainable certification. Echeverria recognizes the 3 pillars of sustainability as defined by the World Summit for Social Development: people, planet, profit.
Hand-picked Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc see extended skin maceration for a structured, deep-hued wine ready to drink now or age for up to a decade. Each varietal was aged in 225 Liter new French oak barrels for 10 months before bottling.
An expressive and rich bouquet of strawberries, black cherry, dark chocolate, spices and charred oak. Complex and lingering flavors of sweet tobacco and bramble.
