Miraval 2017

A Provence Rose with an intense aromatic expression

The Chateau Miraval rose is produced in the A.O.P Cotes de Provence appellation. The grapes come from a rigorous selection of the best vineyards at the Chateau and the most famous terroirs of Provence.

The vineyards of Chateau Miraval enjoy an excellent exposure to sun from their implantation on terraces, at an average altitude of 350 meters on clay-limestone soils. The climatic conditions of the area are characterised by important thermal variations between day and night, allowing for an optimal phenolic development of the fruit and an aromatic equilibrium that is perfectly transcribed in the finished wines.

The Cotes de Provence Miraval Rose 2017 comes from a blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah et Rolle (Vermentino), an authentic expression of the southern terroir. In the glass, the Miraval rose 2017 displays a pale pink colour with elegant, shiny reflections. The aromatic palette reveals an intense and refreshing aromatic expression, punctuated with notes of fresh fruit and delicate floral notes. On the palate, the wine seduces with its elegance and vivacity, highlighted by its refreshing acidity. The finish offers slightly saline notes. An ideal rosé to savour in its youth.
