Classified as a Cru Classe de Provence since 1955, Château Galoupet was acquired in 2019 by Moet Hennessy, the Wines & Spirits division of the LVMH group.

Following the acquisition of this estate, a thorough study of the soils, tending to the entire vineyard with the utmost care along with modernizing the vinification tools were carried out place in order to produce a Cotes de Provence wine that would gravitate among the finest references in the appellation.

Chateau Galoupet overlooks 77 hectares of protected woodland and 69 hectares of vines that have been undergoing a conversion towards organic farming since August 2020. Spread over 41 parcels and vinified separately, the vineyard comprises an array of grape varieties (Grenache, Syrah, Tibouren, Rolle, Cinsault, Mourvedre, Cabernet and Sémillon).
