The Chateau La Fleur de Boüard vineyard covers 29.5 hectares. The Le Plus de La Fleur de Bouard 2020 was made from a selection of 60-year-old vines planted on a gravelly outcropping containing 15 to 20% clay.
Vinification and aging
Pre-fermentation maceration at 8 to 10 ° C. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration for 4 to 6 weeks. The vinification as well as the malolactic fermentation were carried out in barrels (with aging on lees). Aging lasted 33 months in French oak barrels (100% new barrels). The wine was neither fined nor filtered.
The Chateau La Fleur de Bouard 2020 is a 100% Merlot.
