Ferraton Pere & Fils : Les Oliviers 2016

A 50-50 blend of Marsanne and Roussanne, the 2016 Saint Joseph Les Oliviers Blanc is rich and honeyed on the nose, then plump and round on the palate. It's medium to full-bodied, with attractive pineapple and melon flavors that turn slightly bitter on the finish.

A bright and engaging style, with lots of honeysuckle and verbena notes leading off, followed by lively pear, green and yellow apple, and melon flavors. Fresh acidity is well-embedded through the finish. Should stretch out nicely with modest cellaring. Marsanne and Roussanne. Drink now through 2022. 120 cases made, 30 cases imported.
