Description
The Lancement cuvée under the Côte-Rôtie appellation from the M&S Ogier d'Ampuis estate fully expresses itself in this 2009 vintage. Its color is a beautiful deep, brilliant purple-red. On the nose, Lancement 2009 reveals notes of black fruits (blueberries, blackcurrant), undergrowth, black olive, and even graphite. On the palate, it is velvety and dense, with beautiful richness and silky tannins. The finish is sublime, persistent, and full-bodied.
